Shawna Morris is a professional Enterprise and Team Agile Coach and trainer (Scrum Foundations, SAFe). She currently has her CSP-SM, A-CSM, CSM, CSPO, and CAL1 certifications. She is also a certified Team Facilitator and Coach with ICP-ATF and ICP-ACC certifications and holds certifications in scaled Agile frameworks including Scrum@Scale (RSaSP) and Scaled Agile Framework (SPC5 and 6). Shawna is also a Kanban Coaching Professional (KCP). She also additional certifications as a Path to Agility Practitioner and in OKR Foundations.
She began her career in the software development space as a Quality Assurance Engineer over twelve years ago. She has been a Scrum Master and Product Owner at various organizations over the years.
At Frontier Communicdations, Shawna began coaching and mentoring several Development Teams regarding Agile, Scrum, and software development best practices. The success of these teams was then shared with the Leadership Team and the Agile Transformation began. Shawna was responsible for the Agile Center of Excellence, scaling Agile and Scrum across the organization, and worked diligently to transform the way individuals, teams, management, and senior leadership think, act and deliver high-value, customer-centric functionality to the marketplace.
At BECU, Shawna is a Sr. Agile Coach within the Enterprise Agility Team. She provides team- and program-level coaching, mentoring, and training to newly formed Programs and Scrum Teams (including Scrum Masters and Product Owners) and their Product Management counterparts and leaders. She works to promote a Lean-Agile Mindset to enable teams to reach high-performance.
