About
Gilbert C. E. Lewis, Jr.
I was the Product Owner for my project’s first Scrum team. I developed the feature’s product backlog. This feature had a Customer and Internal User Team. I balanced the Customer and internal User Team needs to determine user story priorities for grooming the product backlog. This feature was used to control various network elements using a single GUI. I held user story meetings with Customers, Users, and the Scrum Team. From those meetings, I developed user stories, acceptance criteria, GUI wireframes, workflows, ICDs, format specifications, and Customer facing documentation. I instituted additional Customer demos to better manage Customer expectations. I utilized “Live-Fire” Team demos to identify trouble areas before integration. I managed current and forward looking user stories in the product backlog using Scrumworks Pro and DOORS. DOORS was required by my Customer and project. I developed a semi-automated technique for synchronizing Scrumworks Pro and DOORS. I also developed various measuring tools for tracking development progress and identifying “hung” tasks not available in Scrumworks Pro and DOORS.
