I come to you with over 15 years of experience involving WebFOCUS Development in DevStudio and SQL Programming. Over the years I have gained expertise in managing projects for developing products for key clients such as America Express, Ford Motor Company & Ace Hardware Corporation, etc. Managing delivery of projects within the time frame, and as per clients specifications are some of my major strengths.

 

I possess experience in architecting, strategising & executing for end-to-end Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence systems; establishing data standards & templates to enhance quality and integrity of data; designing backup & recovery policy for the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) & integrated diverse data sources with EDW. Proven skills in handling activities involving IBI Webfocus for development, support, maintenance & execution of a complex project module.

 

Holds extensive knowledge of dimensional modelling, Star & Snowflake schema designs, Data Mining methodologies, and latest in the field such as XML Warehousing, in-memory & column-store DBMS, Cloud based DW Design. I have handled projects across various domains involving Retail & Hospitality, Manufacturing & Logistics, Enterprise Information Management, Information & Analytics Services, etc.

 

Worked on an interactive self-service Business Intelligence portal that provides a near-real-time and historic window into processing systems, enabling our customers to monitor their fraud detection, prevention, and payment activities. The portal is accessed via the internet and provides high level dashboards and charts, with intuitive navigation and drilldowns that take the user through layers of information, all the way down to individual transactions, in just a few clicks.

 

Objective: This long-term project involves the migration of reporting solution from legacy to a more modern solution, using WebFOCUS with AI support. We have around 550+ reports which were to be migrated.

 

Release: Considering the longer duration of the project, deliverables are split into tabs/functionalities, delivered across multiple (50+) sprints. Related reports will be grouped as Tabs and each tab has 3-5 reports which will have similar information grouped together. Role: Project Manager working with multiple stakeholders to implement the Migration project and responsible for the deliverables to concerned stakeholders.

 

IN: Identified the stakeholders and developed the Project Charter. Created Stakeholder Register. Participated in initial meetings to establish the project goals and initial requirements and scope.

 

PL: Created a Project Management Plan and Stakeholder Management Plan. Led critical project members to collect requirements, create WBS, develop schedule based on WBS. Estimated requirement activities, Capacity Planning, prioritizing of the tasks. Developed resource and cost estimates. Identified project risks and developed the Risk Register. Developed schedule management plan, communication management, change management and quality management plan as well. Prepared Activity list and Milestone list. Created Network diagrams for Project Schedule Management. Planned training for team members. Every individual task is identified and captured in JIRA, which will be groomed initially and will be distributed to resource in Sprint Planning, based upon Prioritized backlog.

 

EC: Acquired the project team members. Assigned work to different team members to ensure the project delivery as per schedule and plan. Maintained Issue log and Change requests. Conducted meetings with stakeholders and team. Updated Organizational Process Assets, Project Management Plan, and project documents. Maintained stakeholder relationship and Maintaining process related activities. Provided necessary training for team members & helping them in achieving their objectives. Made sure the Team members are working on their respective tasks. Identified the Team issues (impediments) in delivering the tasks and ensured removal of impediments. Focus on achieving business need while executing project.

 

MC: Ensured regular tracking and reviewing of project progress. Monitor Project Deliverables as per schedule. Ensured status reports being made and shared with stakeholders. Addressed project change requests by following change management process. Ensured acceptance of deliverables by scope validation in every project stage. Conducted Sprint Reviews to show the work done during the Sprint. Update relevant stakeholders and team members on the project progress and getting feedback on the regular intervals. Ensuring teams and leaders are meeting the quality standards as set in the Definition of Done.

 

CL: At the end of each Sprint, the deliverables which were committed during Sprint Planning will be demonstrated to the Stakeholders and the Sprint will be closed. Conducted Retrospective session to obtains feedback and help improvise the team further, to perform better by sharing the lessons learnt. Organized hands-on demonstrative session with the end users. Handed over the deliverables and necessary documents/details to concerned stakeholders. Outcome: Reliable, User-friendly, stable, modern, and minimalistic UI with Improved performance. Additional Capabilities of Scheduling and emailing the reports to the Clients with AI powered predictive search capabilities.
