Nicolas Vasseur

I am a software engineer with more than 9 years of experience in .NET technologies.

During my first year of employment, I created a prototype in my spare time and presented it to the CEO of the company who decided to develop it to a full product and take it to the market. My role has been evolving with the product: from being the only developer to become team leader and then product manager. Since then, the product has grown and has now more than a million registered users and is being used by medium to large-sized companies including Xerox Europe, Hallmark USA and BP.

I have worked on various projects from integrating products together (usually single sign-on) to designing the solution for the largest e-learning project in Denmark.

I am currently responsible for the running and development of a Content Management platform. This includes managing a team of eight people across three countries (UK, France and South Africa), dealing daily with products owners and making sure functionalities are delivered on time, on budget and on value.

I am also always trying to expand my skills, having attended the Architect’s Master Class with Juval Lowy, one of the world’s top architect and specialist on WCF.
