Collaborates with business owners/stakeholder to understand business needs, processes project specifications, business case development, cost sheet analysis and data sources. Translates business needs into clearly defined and documented detailed, high quality requirements, functional designs, and system supplemental specifications for new applications or analyzes change requests/enhancements in existing applications. Analyze data to determine business problem, trends, or opportunities for process improvements. Responsible for testing, and provides root cause analysis and corrective action plan. Led 38 team members (Information Specialists, Information Analysts, and Information Associates) in providing systems development, enhancement, and maintenance services for Delphi Packard Electric Business Systems, Product Engineering, Packard International, Quality Control, and Reliability staff areas. Supported numerous mainframe, distributed, and PC based systems. Responsible for customer consulting, satisfying customer commitments, adhering to Systems Life Cycle/Systems Development Procedures (SLC/SDP, GM 4 Phase) methodology, producing internal efficiencies/cost savings suggestions, salary administration, staffing, resource management, and personnel development and administration. Led sub team within the ISO 9000 core planning team, responsible for achieving ISO compliance. Coached various work groups on documenting their functional areas, provided quality assurance to ensure standards were followed, and provided project management for meeting target dates. I led the Software Quality Assurance (SQA) team, which conducted software audits to ensure quality and conformance to established standards. I managed day-to-day information protection processing at both locations to include access controls, monitoring and reporting. I served as the representative on the GM & Delphi Information Protection Corporate Team that proposed new processes, policies and procedures for use throughout General Motors Corporation. I supervised the development and implementation of Disaster Recovery Plans, Business Continuity Plans, and Audits of these plans through drills and exercises.

These engineers provided support for Delphi Packard worldwide. I was responsible for oversight and management of all team members. Shift scheduling and all personnel actions (pay, bonus, recognition, performance review, hiring and terminations.)
Project Manager - Applications Development
I provided systems engineering support for Power and Signal Distribution Systems new Bill of Material (BOM) system. I led team consisting of 10 Systems Engineers that were located in Warren, Ohio, Dayton, Ohio and Anaheim, California. Responsible for oversight and management of all development, enhancement, and problem resolution activities related to this implementation as well as the interfaces to all other engineering systems.

Responsible for enhancements and maintenance to 15 Manufacturing and Engineering systems. Became an expert in the tool design and manufacturing process to produce production parts and subassemblies for power and signal distribution systems.
