Stefan Suppra
I was always passionate about building software that people are willing to use. Back at school, I designed and created the school's website, later I started at Volkswagen Financial Services and developed software professionally - first, for our dealer network, later for the end customers by implementing mobile applications. The direct feedback of the customer mixed with the immediate response time that app development made possible, I saw that this also had to be possible for web development, where we typically had release cycles of three months or more and it took more than two years for projects from ideation to final implementation. I wanted to change this, so I did. First as a team member, then as a Scrum Master, and now in a management position where I actively spread the word about agility, get my team to self-organization, and work on implementing a healthier work culture at VWFS, where employees are the ultimate source of value and make a difference.
