Wen-Yin Lin

I am Wen-Yin Lin, the senior consultant, instructor and exams series organizer and manager of Advanced Business Consulting, Inc. I received my Master’s degree in Education of Curriculum and Instruction from Southern Illinois University in the U.S., and have since gained over fifteen years of experience in staff training and project management. The areas I worked in include the domains of technology, semiconductors, telecoms, insurance, banking, finance, education, government and heavy industry. I have been delegated to work for several prominent U.S. companies’ projects, such as Corning Display Technologies’ Finish Training Project, LOMA’s Online Insurance Training Program, and SkillSoft’s Online Management Training Program. With my management skills, I have always applied my know-how of project management to help my customers become more successful in their projects or business operations. 

To explore the possibility other than PMP, I decided to gain more credentials, including PMI-ACP (10/ 2014), CSPO (03/ 2015), PMI-RMP (06/ 2015), PMI-PBA (07/ 2015), CBAP (10/ 2015) and CSM (11/ 2015). I believe the knowledge gained from these credentials will support me strongly to assist more enterprises that want to combine their project management knowledge and skills with real market. In addition, I can also help them to fulfill their business needs in the process.

I started to practice Scrum and led the team to deliver project with Scrum methodology since early 2011. Besides, I was a volunteered ACP coach, who assisted the learners to gain their PMI-ACP certification with confidence. I believe that Scrum is an efficient method that can generate a quick return rate with the approach of prioritizing the user’s requirements. I will continuously practice Scrum in projects development to make more success reference cases. Furthermore, I will share these experiences with other practitioners.
