Sibylle Stuerner started her career 1993 with a diploma in Mechanical Engineering/ Production Technology (FH) at the University of Applied Sciences in Esslingen.
Afterwards she worked for Assfalg Qualitätshydraulik, a family-owned enterprise, as an Engineer for design and development. She developed and constructed customized, application-related solutions in the field of agriculture and industry. There she learned that the direct and frequent communication with all involved people is a key for successful projects and customer satisfaction.
In 1995 she joined the Robert Bosch GmbH as a development engineer for ABS/TCS and ESP system. There she worked as an expert for technical customer documentation, as team leader and as sub-project manager. In order to lead a software integration project in Japan she changed 2005 to Bosch Engineering GmbH.
Even though those projects where all plan driven projects she naturally acted as a servant leader and lived the agile principles within her project teams. That fostered the self-organization of the teams and enabled success.
Besides leading the SW-integration project she helped to build up the 2006 founded Bosch Engineering K.K. Japan by setting up a function development group and establishing an appropriate quality management system.
In 2009 she returned to Germany to join the new central quality department of Bosch Engineering GmbH to support the worldwide founded subsidiaries in setting up an adequate quality management system. There she removed barriers and enabled change in an iterative and incremental approach.
During that time Scrum was introduced to her and she immediately fell in love with this framework since the values and principles reflect the way she always tried and wanted to work in here projects.
Thus she became a Trainer & Scrum Master and supports now Bosch on the journey of Agile Transformation as an Agile Trainer and Coach.
