Scrum Promoter, Software Craftsman

Arthur Liang has 15 years of experiences in the IT industry and 10 years Agile (Scrum and XP) related work experiences. He has been taking lots of roles from software engineer, project leader, scrum master, agile trainer, coach, line manager, product owner to software manager in different companies during these years.

Arthur began his Scrum practice, from 2007, as a software engineer in HUAWEI(Shenzhen) Technology Inc. He insisted on using Scrum Framework and XP practices in a project and archived success. Soon, he got more opportunities as Scrum master to led using agile approach on more projects. Gradually, he became an internal agile coach to training more teams to use Scrum and XP. From 2011, Arthur began his new journey in Finisar SHG Inc until now. These years, he not only used Scrum on his software team but also promote it to the different type of teams and projects, e.g. Optical Design team, Hardware team, NPI projects, etc. During Spare time, Arthur is active to participant in agile community events most in Shanghai to helps others who want to imports agile approach to their organizations.

Arthur specializes in importing agile approach to the organizations, especially for importing Scrum and XP. His appropriate working experiences just let him to know most of team’s pain points and to know how to help teams to adapt Scrum and XP. Because many years working in first-line with the team, Arthur also is very good at most agile tools just like Jenkins, Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence, SonarQube etc. He helped many organizations to imported them.
