Christy Brandt

Christy Brandt is the founder and president of TapRoot Consultants. TapRoot Consultants is located in the Silicon Valley area of California. Christy is the primary consultant with a consortium of talent that is brought in on an as needed basis.

Christy has a background in applied math, software engineering, sociology, organizational development, and leadership. She has had a diverse engineering leadership career building and managing high-performance teams, from successful startups to Fortune 500 companies. She has over 20 years experience in technical leadership, including many years forming successful feature teams using scrum. In addition to her personal career experience, Christy comes from a long line of organizational development gurus. She was mentored by her father – Dr. Brian Hall - a researcher, author, and theorist in the area of values and leadership development, as well as the alignment and transformation of organizations. Dr. Hall has published more than 25 books and articles on the subject. Christy worked extensively with her father on his research for these published works. 
 
Christy has a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from UC Davis. She completed the Stanford University Graduate School of Business AeA program focused on growing executive leadership skills. She also completed the advanced Women Unlimited Leadership Education and Development Program, and continues to support the organization by mentoring upcoming women technology leaders. Christy is also a Certified Scrum Master.
