Florian Kneisel
Was born on January, 14th 1975 in Darmstadt, Germany.
Subsequently to his high school exam he decided to follow his passion for natural sciences and studied chemistry at Marburg (Germany) and Cambridge (United Kingdom) University.
In 2003 he received his doctorate degree from the Universiy of Munich (Germany) and professionalized his academic career with a post doctoral research project at Stanford University (California, USA).
Due to various industry cooperations in his early scientific career, he decided to start an industrial research and development path with Degussa AG (Hanau, Germany) in 2005.
Leading a project for research and development strategy within a bio technological science-to-business center he extended his focus to consulting project & innovation management within Evonik Industries AG (Essen, Germany) in 2008.
In 2011 he established a team for Lean/Agile for indirect process areas and implemented lean/agile continuous improvement management and leadership at DAW SE (Darmstadt, Germany).
In 2014 he changed his industry focus from chemical to manufacturing systems engineering industry and started a programme for lean development and agile scaling at Schaeffler Technology AG (Herzogenaurach, Germany).
Since 2016 he is consulting and coaching companies in various verticals (engineering, logistics, information technology, chemistry, pharma and others) in setting up continuous development and lean/agile transformation programmes.
