Brian Fancett has more than 14 years of experience working as a technical resource and IT project manager.  During his technical tenure, Brian has worked on both small and large defense, private sector, and enterprise scaled projects for the financial, healthcare, logistics, supply chain management, and defense industries.  Brian has worked as both a team member and a team lead.  Brian has hands on experience working with and leading small to large size teams of developers and analysts.

Brian started his journey working as a finanical network and system support analyst in 2002.  He has more than 8 years of experience working on primarily large Department of Denfense software projects.  To strengthen his project management skills, Brian migrated from a primarily waterfall approach to manageing software development and business requirements to Agile and Scrum in 2010 while working for the US Army as a Supply Systems Analyst doing software development and business analyst work for a highly visible and critical weapon system platform.  Brian has completed many training opportunities to further strengthen his skillset, and completed his CSM and CSPO course after moving to more of a coach and mentor role in 2013.

Brian has worked and been responsible for developing poicies and procedures for facilitating organizational change in the area of Agile and Scrum adoption within defense agencies.  He has worked to establish large scale product portfolio management practices that embrace and improve team level Scrum from the highest levels of the organization.  To cover verticals across the businesses, Brian has managed successful projects related to healthcare, financial, and defense enterprises. These projects have ranged in duration from one month to more than 6 years including sustainment and DevOPS. The teams completing these projects vary in size from 2 developers to 10 developers. His strengths are leadership by example, project management by style, and teamwork by profession.
