Mat Hayes

Hi, I'm Mat and I'm a professional Agile enterprise coach. I have had a career leading and supporting change in technology and business for over 25 years. I have been part of several highly successful start-ups; navigating the various growth stages and the dynamic change needed to move to the next level. I have had roles on all levels from geeky developer to CTO and Executive coach.

As an experienced technology leader, I have founders bring their products to market. I have been strongly involved in transformative change on many levels supporting leadership organisations in various sectors, both public & private, national, and international.

To follow my desire to help people I became a Professional Coach with the International Coaching Federation, I also trained in Organisation & Relationship Systems Coaching. More recently I have been trained by Nancy Kline to become an Official Time to Think coach. This is my favourite coaching style as I love its power and simplicity to generate sublime thinking for my clients.

When working with my clients I help them explore and discover the change they want and take them on a reflective journey to move them in the right direction. As a result, I have worked with several founders to move past early stages and procrastination to help them realise their products and become multi-million-pound companies.

I work with other agile coaches to bring humility, creativity, and playfulness to the workplace. My passion is building creative spaces for learning and thinking. I have been on a huge learning journey immersing myself in creative facilitation. I joined improvisation groups, became a 'Training from the BACK of the room' trainer, and have plenty of tips and tricks for making workshops and sessions both fun and productive.
