Jim Noble

Jim Noble was trained as a Fine Artist and came into contact with computers during his Masters degree in printmaking at the Royal College of Art, London in 1992.

He worked for several years on his research project "Print and Computing in the context of Fine Art: an investigation into relationships and strategies", and since 2000 he has worked as a web designer in a top London design agency, setup the Digital art and design curriculum for the Design and Visual Arts department at Coventry University, whilst also rebuilding the printmaking department and briefly serving as Course director of the BA Fine Arts course.

In 2007 he left Higher Education and set up his own web design and development company. XJJZ | designed communications have been producing thoughtfully designed websites for small and large businesses, universities and organisations since that time.

Jim has extensive experience of many of the jobs in the webdesign business, but has a creative background which informs his approach to work, people and the management of compexity.

His most recent work has been for Oxford University Press where he has been helping with the design, production & test management of a major educational software project.
