I, Anjana Batchu is a Software Engineer QA Lead in a leading Security Company, Intel Security (McAfee Inc.) in Santa Clara, California. I recieved my bachelors in Electronics & Communication Engineering. I have worked as a technical representative, developer, QA engineer & now a QA Lead who is also Scrum Master for a great team. I worked as a SAP Consultant for SAP Labs & IBM Corporation in India. Moving into Software Quality Engineer role has helped me understand the product beyond the code & my passion now lies in going beyond & truly discovering customer satisfaction with a great quality product via Scrum practices.
I have worked in a Agile/Scrum team since 2008 during my tenure in Partner Custom Projects which involved in delivering projects to McAfee's partners. It was partner requested projects which had short delivery timelines. In 2009, I was part of scrum team for a larger project which included several iterations of development before release. I have taken over Scrum Master's role since April 2013. Since then, I have worked with two co-located teams as SM & delivered successfully every sprint. After I completed my CSM, I have been much more passionate towards Scrum & strive to do my best for my team's success. I am now SM for a distributed team across Canada & US, which gives me different challenges & dimension. I grow each day as SM, I love my team & my job.
