Mike Applegate

I am a consulting manager with over fourteen years of financial budgeting, reporting, and analysis experience. Responsible for managing, developing and implementing budgeting and financial reporting software solutions for mid-size and large corporations utilizing Microsoft  business applications (Microsoft PerformancePoint Server).

Amongst several other ongoing Business Intelligence projects, I am currently winding down a multiyear project for American Express, worldwide.  While my primary role is to oversee multiple B.I. projects, I also contribute to the solution architecture.   Along with another associate, we are collaborating to implement Scrum within our organization.  Part of my responsibilities will be to run several projects with Scrum and then mentor other ScrumMasters on how to best utilize the techniques of Agile and Scrum Project Management.

Additionally, I have vertical expertise with Federal Government, Financial Services Banking, Financial Services Insurance, Life Sciences (Pharmaceutical/Biotech), Media & Entertainment, Manufacturing, Professional Services/Software, Retail (Consumer Services), State and Local Government.
