Monty Menon is...

actually I struggle to write about myself in the third person so will avoid that. As a student of classics (UCL '94-'97) to me this smacks of the behaviour of deranged power-mad Roman emperors.

I am a full stack agile consultant helping organisations adopt agile practices with a particlar focus on scrum, xp, and now BDD and DevOps.

I am a firm believer in continuous learning and improvement, eliminating waste and striving for excellence, or as the ancient Greeks would have it:

γνῶθι σεαυτόν 

μηδὲν ἄγαν

ἀρετή

I try to apply learning from one aspect of life to all other aspects. My life experiences encompass growing up in India; working in Grand Cru vineyards in Bordeaux;  selling rice storage silos to the Vietnamese government; writing a trekking guide to the Moroccan Atlas and Sahara; diving with big sharks; raising a young family in Germany; undergoing aggressive chemotherapy...and soon, competing in a triathlon.
