About

Title: Change Manager

Kelly McKenzie is an organizational Change Manager in Information and Technology Services at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco.  She joined the Bank's Leadership Development Program in late October 2011 and moved into her current role on July 1, 2012.  As Change Manager, Kelly is responsible for leading 100+ staff on a multi-year software development project through the Scrum transformation process.

Prior to joining the FRBSF, Kelly served as Managing Director of Strategy and Operations at a Community Development Financial Institution in Oakland, CA. In this role, Kelly was responsible for envisioning and implementing a series of strategic initiatives that helped the organization become more technologically proficient and data-driven. Specifically, she was responsible for leading the organization's transition from an Access Database to Salesforce CRM, working with an external consultant to customize the platform and then facilitating the internal changes necessary to ensure widespread adoption of the new technology. She also managed the end-to-end shift from a proprietary loan payment processing system to a third-party software application aligned with industry best practices. As a result of projects such as these, organizational efficiency and analytical decision-making processes greatly improved, leading to more informed and effective operations.

Kelly holds a Master of Social Work and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Stanford University, where she received a B.A. with honors in American Studies.
