Dr. Raman brings more than 15 years of expertise in Lean|Agile transformation, program and project management, coaching, and training. He has served as a trusted advisor at the team, program, and enterprise levels, guiding both Fortune 500 companies and U.S. government agencies through large-scale digital and organizational transformations. His work includes establishing Agile Centers of Excellence, launching Agile Release Trains, driving ISO and CMMI certifications, and managing complex programs that deliver mission-critical outcomes.
Dr. Raman has supported a wide range of federal clients—including the U.S. Armed Forces and multiple civilian agencies—helping them modernize IT delivery, strengthen compliance, and enhance operational effectiveness. In addition, he has led initiatives for global enterprises such as NBC, Bristol Myers Squibb, JP Morgan Chase, PayPal, and Cisco. His unique ability to bridge government requirements with Agile and program management best practices has consistently enabled organizations to meet mission objectives on time and within budget.
Academically, Dr. Raman holds four degrees: two undergraduate degrees in Biomedical Science Research and Laboratory Science, and two graduate degrees in Information Technology from the University of Maryland, Towson University, and George Mason University. He contributes actively to the professional community, having served on review committees for Scrum Alliance conferences, spoken at leading Agile events, and published articles in outlets such as InfoQ, Scrum Alliance, and Agile Atlas.
Dr. Raman also serves as adjunct faculty in the College of Health and Human Services at George Mason University. His thought leadership includes developing software tools for Agile maturity and transformation, and advancing practices that integrate Agile, program management, and enterprise delivery in both public and private sectors.
