Terry Mork - I am passionate about agile software development. My main focus in this space has been around higher quality test driven development (TDD), test automation, continuous integration (CI) and continuous delivery (CD). I have proved out my research in the corporate and academic arenas regarding defect density utilizing TDD. I extend TDD passed the developers' point of view and think of TDD as the entire testing life cycle. Documenting success factors, test cases, acceptance criteria up front from the Analysts' perspective as well as developers, testers and most importantly from the Product Owners perspective. To me, the entire test cycle is TDD. Now I simply need to finalize my dissertation and defend it.

Let's go one step further... or a quantum leap as some may say... to Behavioral Driven Design (BDD). I began to pilot this practice at MasterCard. Thinking how the features should behave is a very mature practice. Then, fully automating those behavioral tests with a tool such as jBehave will mature an organization where they can be successful in Continuous Delivery. 

I have played various roles in the Agile space. I developed an entire training curriculum for MasterCard Worldwide and trained over 600 staff members. This curriculum included a 90 minute on-line overview of Agile practices, to a 1-day facilitated session on MasterCard's way of practicing Agile, to a 3-day tool-intensive training session. There was also a session for Product Owners to help them understand what is Agile software development, what does it mean to them, how can they get better products and better ROI, and what is their role in this process. I served as the Agile Coach for MasterCard for all teams leveraging Scrum, Kanban or ScrumBan. Additionally, I served as ScrumMaster on several internal agile projects.
