RAVI RAO. I studied Philosophy in college. I've worked mostly in IT except for a few years when I worked as project manager for a large accounting company. I've worked as a software developer, a technical architect, a business intelligence developer, a project manager and most recently as a scrum master. My real love is management consulting. The part of management consulting I find the most exhilarating is watching a project begin as an idea and then watching it go live. When I first learned about Scrum, it dawned on me that I've been an Agilista for years and years. In IT, everything changes: Requirements, budget, deadlines etc. A successful project manager can navigate though a sea of changes and delight sponsors, external stakeholders, and the team. Being tethered to a static list of deliverables makes for unhappiness all around when conditions change and the team needs to adapt.
