About
Syed Khalil is a Certified Scrum Master (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) who has been working in software development since 2004. He has worked in various industries, including Oil & Gas, Media, Insurance, Retail, E-commerce, and Government. Syed holds MBA degree from Southern University and BBA degree from Florida Atlantic University. Syed has worked for Amazon as Senior Program Manager, and has worked for Apple as Global Engineering Project Manager.
Syed’s love for Scrum started when he received his CSM certification. It transformed his perspective on interchangeability of roles within a team. He passionately advocated for correct implementation of Scrum at workplace. His Scrum experience has aided him in resolving complex project issues leading to cost and time efficiency.
After attending a seminar on how Scrum can be a driving force behind HR, Syed realized that various aspects of Scrum can be applied to solving challenges across different domains including the IT industry. Syed believes that Scrum can offer solutions in cross-functional and cross-cultural team settings.
Syed continues to study, disseminate, and practice Scrum knowledge in his professional and personal life.
