Gero Seifert

Gero Seifert is an IT consultant and program manager with many years of experience in coaching Agile teams, leading multi-site projects and improving R&D processes. He was certified as Scrum Master by Ken Schwaber in 2005.

Gero played a key role in introducing and further developing agile practices in Nokia and Nokia Siemens Networks together with e.g. Jutta Eckstein and Bas Vodde. After having worked with development teams from India since 1996, he joined the largest Indian IT Service Provider TCS, where he also promoted Agile practices throughout the organization. Next, he joined IBM Deutschland GmbH, again supporting the Agile transformation, e.g. by delivering Agile DevOps trainings for IBM Europe.

Today, Gero is at home with codecentric AG, a highly innovative and truely agile consulting company with several sites throughout Germany, Bosnia and Serbia. Currently, he works as a PO for a major German insurance company and facilitates the Agile transformation of a photo service solution provider.

DevOps and Agile Offshoring have become Gero's favourite subjects, for which he also delivers presentations and trainings.

Besides being a whole-hearted Agile coach and project manager, Gero is a persuasive communicator and a skilled facilitator of efficient meetings and workshops.
