Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to attend the online program?

Attending the online version of this program is simple. You just need access to a laptop/PC with a stable internet connection, audio/video, and microphone capabilities. We will send you a digital version of the program notes as and when needed, which you can print off if you like, but this is not mandatory.

Is there an exam?

No. The accreditation is achieved by completing the program requirements.

When can I start the program? How long do I have to finish?

Once you register, you can start your program immediately. (If you see a program "start" date on the Scrum Alliance website, those are only marker dates because of how their website is currently set up.) You have six months to complete the program. You go at your own pace.

How long will it take to complete the program?

Your availability will likely govern your pace of progress. Our programs are deep and challenging by design. We recommend taking your time to practice what you learn, reflect on that experience, and look for ways to improve. If you are looking for a 2-day class, this program is not for you.

Can I take a break from the program if something comes up?

Sure! You can take breaks as needed.

Will my work be graded?

There are NO tests to obtain the certification. Our educators will look for evidence that you can practice what you have learned in the program with a Scrum/Agile team.

What is the best way to complete this program?

This program should be a learning experience you can complete at your own pace. Record your learning in a log. Be creative! Write it out, do a slide presentation, record a video, or draw. The hope is that everything you learn can be applied and repeated with your teams.

What is the Program Schedule?

Many professionals want to expand their Scrum knowledge without dedicating full days to classroom learning. This flexible, rolling mentoring program accommodates your schedule, allowing you to join and progress at your own pace.

The program can be completed in as little as six weeks or over six months—whatever aligns with your availability and pace. You are in control of your journey!

When do we meet?

We meet fortnightly on Thursdays between 5 pm and 6 pm UK time.

The group remains connected via an online chat platform between sessions, enabling collaboration and additional sessions to fast-track progress.

Learn by Doing!

Our program focuses on experiential learning, allowing you to apply new techniques and strategies directly in your work environment.

Regular mentoring sessions with experienced industry experts provide actionable insights, ensuring you gain practical, real-world knowledge.

Validation

During your initial mentoring session, we will discuss your self-learning log and set your desired outcomes for certification.

As part of the process, you will participate in peer events, workshops, and mentoring sessions while completing a concise validation log detailing your learning journey.

After finalizing your log, a peer-reviewed reflection session will evaluate the program's impact on your skills.

To achieve certification, participants must attend at least four mentoring sessions and demonstrate competency in all learning objectives.

Who should attend

The A-CSPO program can be taken any time after completing your CSPO certification. However, you must have at least 12 months of Product Owner experience logged into your Scrum Alliance profile before you are eligible to receive your A-CSPO certification.
