It was a great experience!! Didactic and dynamic. It was easy to follow, the course had a nice distribution, and the 8 hours didn't feel like a long time.

Sherman was a great instructor during this course. While I was first intimidated by the class material, his teaching style made learning scrum easy and fun. He broke down scrum principles with an emphasis on classroom activities and real-world examples. I am ultimately very glad that I chose to travel to Long Beach to attend his class in person. The level of engagement and overall learning experience was greatly enhanced by being at Scrum Adventures HQ.

Sherman used a rather large variety of facilitation techniques to keep everybody engaged throughout, regardless of our background and experience with Scrum. And I mean everybody. Sherman also engaged in discussions about practical applications of Scrum in various employment environments, providing additional value beyond the subject matter. Lastly, Sherman also included some use of AI tooling, which is sneakily important; whether we like it or not, we all need to learn how to utilize AI tools -- or get left behind. By incorporating it, Sherman helped normalize it for those who may not be.
