Great course. There is a lot of misinformation out there about the benefits of OKRs in Agile and this course helped me put together some key pieces that I can take back to my Product Owner teams and organization to real add value in what we deliver.
Joel is an amazing coach and trainer. In a few hours, he manages to squeeze in so much valuable knowledge rooted in his expertise and real-world experience. Very organized and knows *how* to teach to his audience! Highly recommended.
Joel combines deep knowledge with both practicality and humor - I was excited to bring what I had learned back to my team!
This was my second course with Joel (the first one was CAF), so I was already familiar (and looking forward) to his teaching style. I have been working with OKRs for 3 years, but recently I started facilitating the planning sessions where they are defined. This class helped validate many ideas I want to apply soon, + gave me a few aha moments. If you are torn on whether to take this course, I would encourage you to do it regardless of whether it's a brand-new topic for you or if you are somehow seasoned in the OKR world.
Joel has great use case scenarios that made it easy to digest the material
Joel did great explaining all the concepts and provided SO many resources. Most helpful was learning how to properly put together a prompt for more meaningful results.
Joe was great and went at an easy to learn pace. Class was well organized and lots of materials provided beforehand, during and after to support the teachings.
I think it’s a class that deals well with a still evolving topic.
Content aligned with the work the PMO is doing and helped strengthen that language for the team. I appreciated that it was presented as a framework and tool with many applications. I do think some of the folks who have never worked in an organization outside of EJ with processes and/or software development were struggling even with the foundational pieces.
