If you’re comfortable with the “business side” of projects, you are probably the right person to become a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®). While the ScrumMaster helps the Scrum Team work together to learn and implement Scrum, as a CSPO, you create the product vision, order the Product Backlog, and collaborate with the Developers and Stakeholders to create products that delight both customers and the business.

Certified Scrum Product Owner professionals know the Scrum terminology, practices, and principles that enable them to fulfill the role of Product Owner on a Scrum team. CSPOs are typically the individuals who are closest to the "business side" of the project. They are charged by the organization to "get the product out" and are expected to do the best possible job of satisfying all the stakeholders. CSPOs maintain the product backlog and ensure that everyone knows the priorities.

Taking the CSPO course is the first step on your path of becoming more Agile. To truly master Scrum, experience and continuing education are necessary.

This course is ides for current and future Product Owners, Product Managers, Business Analysts, Project and Program Managers, Consultants, Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches who want to learn the essentials of leading a Scrum Team as its Product Owner.

As an interactive course, this workshop requires your full engagement. Kindly make sure your are marked "Out of Office" in your calendar for both days. Cameras must be turned on to confirm you meet the requirments for certification.

Kindly read the Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto values and principles before attending. We may ask you to do 20 or 30 minutes of reading after day 1.
