Certified Scrum Professional - Product Owner (CSP-PO®)

You’ve learned the basics of Scrum and have a solid understanding of the Product Owner role and how to effectively manage a product. This course goes well past the basics and arms you with effective concepts and tools to take your product and your career to the next level.

In this course, we will work through your experiences as a product owner along with the context of your specific organization and products as you learn how to take expert-level product ownership concepts into your environments. This course teaches you concepts in a way that you can immediately understand and apply to your specific situations.

This immersive and interactive learning experience features simulations, role play, small group and class discussions, and multimedia presentations. Taught by Richard Cheng, a renowned expert in the product field, you will have fun while you learn and grow your mastery of product ownership.

Class Format

The class is a live instructor-led 2-day virtual training experience. As part of the optional coursework, the students will have the option to perform 3 out of class activities based on their current product (or a product they have worked with in the past). These are:

  1. Filling out a product canvas or product board for their product
  2. Performing competitive analysis
  3. Running an experiment to test an assumption

Once these activities are complete, the student will schedule a touch point with the instructor to review the results of these activities. The time commitment of these activities is estimated to be 3 to 8 hours of effort. Note these out-of-class activities are optional, you do not need to complete these for your certification.
