Organizations today are striving to stay on top of rapidly changing business needs and are coming to understand that the need to respond and adapt quickly is becoming increasingly important. Business leaders are now required to shift the way that they think about their role as a leader, their relationship to their employees, and the culture of their organization. The goal of this course has three parts: (1) bring awareness and understanding of the foundations of agile leadership; (2) create awareness about the changing dynamics in today's world of work and equip leaders with the practices they need to effectively lead their teams; and (3) bring awareness to the practices and principles of agility and how they apply to business/organizational agility. Participants should expect that each learning objective outlined in this document will be covered over the course of the program. The model for this course is flexible, allowing education providers autonomy to choose how they deliver the program in a way that will provide the most impact for their participants, including the models they choose, the mix of training and coaching, as well as how they bundle learning objectives in distinct learning sessions.

Course Instructor

Dhaval Panchal is an experienced Executive, Organization Design consultant, and Scrum Alliance Certified Agile Coach and Trainer (CEC, CTC, and CST), since 2008. He has been practicing agile since 2003 and helped build multiple agile organizations from the ground up. He is one of the first to bring Systems & Complexity thinking tools and techniques for transforming teams, and organizations.

Dhaval is now the founder of Evolve Agility that provides Agile training and coaching services to enable his clients to amplify the scale and speed of Agile transformations. He has led large scale transformations at Fortune 500 companies, and mid-size Product Companies. Dhaval has first-hand experience with transformation challenges in Oil & Gas, Banking, Insurance, Gaming, and Medical domains.

Pre-Work Assignments

You are expected to complete pre-workshop assignments that require you to reflect on your personal leadership style and motivation. The assignments take approximately 2-3 hours and prepare you to make the most out of your participation in the class.
