Certified ScrumMaster®

Our Certified ScrumMaster® workshop is a dynamic and engaging two-day immersion into the Agile principles, concepts and practices that define the Scrum framework. This virtual experience is highly interactive and collaborative and simulates an in person experience. Our workshop is a  NO death by PowerPoint, experiential learning experience where you will work through real life challenges as a Scrum Master through hands-on exercises. Attendees will work as a small team and learn through discussion, exercises, games, and a simulation using the Scrum framework. Attendees will hear real-world stories and techniques experienced by their Certified Scrum Trainer where Scrum has been successfully implemented. Attendees will also experience innovation frameworks that they can take back and use in their organization.

INSTRUCTOR: KIM BRAINARD

Kim’s fusion of real-life stories and her conversational techniques connect her with students of all walks of life on an intimate, intense and individual level. Kim, sometimes referred to as “Unconventional” for her creative tactics to generate transparency and encourage self-development or as the “People Whisperer” for her street-savvy style of training and coaching that brings out the best in people. Kim is a highly skilled trainer with extensive experience implementing Scrum outside of software development (Yes! Scrum is not just for software development!) Kim has over 15 years experience working in information technology planning, implementation and execution. She is skilled in building interaction and collaboration among organizations to drive change, support key business objectives and maximize value creation. With extensive experience in Federal and State government, she has helped government agencies and private organizations change their thoughts on traditional practices to Agile methods. Kim is a frequent speaker at national and international conferences, including holding the Co-Chair position with Scrum Alliance for their Global Scrum Gatherings.

Duration

The CSM Course is a 2 day class from 8:30AM-4PM Eastern Time. Webcam will be required throughout the course in order to qualify for Scrum Alliance certification.
