Course Overview
The Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) course is an interactive class introducing the concepts of Agile business leadership using the Scrum framework. This is an important first step in the journey towards a more adaptive form of business leadership focused on the business outcomes that matter so you can satisfy the needs of the customers and users.
The activities, tools, and techniques covered in this workshop will enable you to grow revenue, boost innovation, and increase customer satisfaction while delivering and sustaining a high-quality product. The Live Online edition of this course includes:
- Guided preparation work to get you ready
- Three virtual classroom sessions of four-hours each
- Lots of collaboration time with your classmates
- An opportunity to reflect between sessions with short readings
- One-hour follow up Q&A session with your instructor after the course
Upon completion of this two-day training, you will be designated a Certified Scrum Product Owner by the Scrum Alliance® and receive a two-year membership with the Scrum Alliance.

Meet Carlton, Your Instructor
Carlton Nettleton is the Chief Product Owner at Applied Frameworks, a management consulting firm, and co-creator of Online Education at Applied Frameworks. Carlton has over eighteen years of industry experience working with clients to improve quality, increase productivity, build great teams and launch new products using Agile software development practices and techniques.
Today, Carlton’s focus is directed at mentoring and supporting Scrum and Agile practitioners who work in less than ideal conditions. He shares his energy and enthusiasm with our learners so they can achieve their personal and professional goals. Carlton is fluent in both English and Spanish, has written a short book on Scrum and has been Certified Scrum Trainer® since 2012.
Meet Kim, Your Instructor
Kim Poremski is a Principal Consultant with Applied Frameworks. While she enjoys the coaching and mentoring aspects of her role, she has a true passion for teaching. She brings her decades of IT, business analysis, and management experience in industries such as insurance, investments, banking, and healthcare to the classroom.
Kim helps students make the connection between “being” Agile and “doing” Agile by relating to the challenges her students face in the real world. Students consistently give Kim high marks for her energy, enthusiasm, knowledge, and real world examples.
