Sandeep Lad

I am an entrepreneur & IT Professional with over 20+ years of experience in software development, maintenance and support, in business, technology and management roles. I am a certified PMP and ITIL V3 Foundation certified in addition to my CSM and CSP certifications. I am currently working on obtaining my MBA from the prestigious Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. I have worked most of my professional career at Target Corporation in Minneapolis, MN in consultant and employee roles.

I worked at AON Hewitt as Group Manager/Director, IT Management and lead the Asia Pacific IT group for WorkForce Administration (WFA) solutions. I was in this role from November 2010 to May 2012, and during this tenure I received my first hands on professional exposure to the Scrum methodology as I practiced Scrum for successfully developing the Asia Pacific HRMS product.

Prior to this I have worked at Target Corp in IT Management roles and Business Management roles from 2004 to 2010, primarily in Minneapolis, MN and also at Target's India office in Bangalore, India. Prior to joining Target I worked for CGI Inc (previously IMRGlobal Inc) from 1993 to 2004 as a consultant at Target in Minneapolis in various roles from Programmer Analyst to Senior Technical Consultant.

I received my Bachelor of Engineering degree (with Honors) from University of Bombay in 1993. I studied at the prestigious VJTI Engineering College in Bombay and majored in Digital Electronics and Communications. As aforementioned, I am currently working on studying for my MBA from the prestigious Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

I am an engineer with a strong management focus. My goal is to excel in everything that I apply my mind to. I am a critical thinker, am highly analytical and am a highly passionate people person who believes in the power of teams to achieve anything, literally - I have demonstrated this quality on multiple occasions on tough IT and Business projects throughout my career and have delivered mission critical projects.

My passion for Agile and specifically, Scrum, made me turn my career towards an independent consultant specializing in Scrum for developing innovative software and business solutions. I have been in this role at my client Best Buy since May 2012 as a consultant through Genesis 10, but I have been in the scrum master role since November 2010.

At Best Buy I have successfully practiced Scrum in implementing the MY HR product, upgrade to Taleo product, and upgrade to the Oracle Ebiz suite to version R12, and am excited at the potential of Agile and Scrum methodologies in developing software, providing business solutions and developing great teams! Since 2014 I am in Program Manager and Program Director roles for mission critical Best Buy HR technology and business programs running Accenture, Wipro, TCS and teams of independent consultants

In addition, my passions are making a difference in society and community especially in providing education to the under-privileged children as I believe education is key to a good life.
