Rebecca Traeger

Rebecca Traeger has been working with agile software development since early 2002. Back then, she was the managing editor for what became Better Software magazine, working with technical editors Mike Cohn, Brian Marick, and Esther Derby. Rebecca went on to be editor of the Agile Alliance magazine and later became the website editor for Scrum Alliance and ScrumMaster for the Scrum Alliance website development team. 

Soon after, Rebecca Traeger worked with BigVisible as their content manager, creating and/or editing all of the content for the BigVisible website and many of the marketing pieces. She wrote case studies for BigVisible and Solutions IQ. She has also worked with EBG Consulting and Evolve Beyond on their marketing and website materials. 

Rebecca Traeger has worked with Mike Cohn’s Mountain Goat Software and Kenny Rubin’s Innolution on content strategy, writing, and editing in some capacity for at least 10 years. She has helped to build, revise, or reimagine website content for almost every client she has worked with.

Rebecca was the developmental editor for numerous agile and Scrum books, including Agile Software Development by Mike Cohn, Essential Scrum by Kenny Rubin, The Scrum Field Guide by Mitch Lacey, Scrum Mastery and Product Mastery by Geoff Watts, and IMPROVing Agile Teams by Paul Goddard, among others.
