Biography

Rob Carstons is an Agile Coach and Trainer with an extraordinary passion for developing strategic enterprise software applications and leading diverse and cross-functional software development teams utilizing Agile Project Management methodologies. A Servant Leader, mentor, and advocate Rob has a passion for helping organizations exceed their potential by continually delivering business value and accelerating return-on-investment one iteration at a time. With over 20 years of experience in software development and enterprise systems implementations, Rob brings extraordinary value to the organizations he works with. Whether he’s working with software development teams or C-Level executives, Rob has an ability to deliver value at all levels of the organization. Rob’s career includes leading projects and global cross-functional software development teams throughout the Americas, Europe, Australia, and India. Rob is an active member of the Project Management Institute (PMI), the Scrum Alliance, and the Agile Alliance. Rob is also a PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP), a PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), a Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), a Certified Scrum Master (CSM), a certified SAFe Program Consultant 4.0 (SPC4), a Certified Professional in Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF), and a Certified Professional in Agile Coaching (ICP-ACC). Rob holds an MBA from the California State University, Sacramento and a B.S. in Technology Management from Golden Gate University. Rob also serves as an Adjunct Professor for the California State University, Sacramento, College of Business Administration and College of Continuing Education teaching courses in International Business and Business Communications both at the graduate and undergraduate levels since 2008.
