Grew up professionally in Big 5 Consulting with Ernst & Young's Management Consulting Group. Learned structured application development methods and applied them in very large projects (200-300 consultants) with Fortune 100 companies. Joined a start up company that built digital asset management systems and provided program management for their implementations at client sites. Went independent and am a contract project manager.
Realized that traditional engineering-based approaches to software development were not achieving the quality or delivering fast enough to satisfy the needs of the business, so began a quest for better ways of running projects. Found Agile / Scrum / XP --- and am working with the concepts that they bring.
Am very interested in comparing results with others.
