Mila Cann

I’m the Principal UI/UX Strategist, Digital Transformation for the Government of New Brunswick, Canada. With more than 20 years of design leadership experience across public and private sectors, I lead government-wide UX strategy, digital service standards, and design systems.

I joined the public service in 2018 to establish the province’s first UX design practice. Today, I serve as Principal Product Owner for Digital Transformation AI initiatives, the GNB Design System, and the GNB Digital Service Standard. I create the conditions for scalable, human-centered design across government, aligning real user needs with policy, technology, and strategic priorities to deliver inclusive, accessible, and future-ready digital services.
