Luiz Rodrigues

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Luiz Rodrigues is Agile Coach at Knowledge21 and a software developer. Works since 2008 developing software and helping others to do it. He supports The Manifesto for Agile Software Development and chooses his paths based on its principles. Luiz spends his free time collaborating with the agile community, reading and cycling.

Luiz is a Certified Scrum Master (since 2013), Certified Product Owner (since 2015) and Certified Scrum Developer (since 2017).

Luiz is known by his peers by being a skilled facilitator.

My History

Back in 2008, when working as intern on a traditional software development company for the financial market, my manager suggested our team to each member get a theme to study and make a presentation. I got one of his theme sugestions: "Agile". I never made that presentation, but I never stopped studying and praticing agility.

• On 2010 My term paper for graduating on Information Technology at Mackenzie Presbiterian University was focused on how to mix the best o Extreme Programming and Scrum;
• From 2011 to 2015 I was first a team member, and after the Scrum Master of a great Scrum Team, where we learned how to make Scrum for real;
• Since 2016 I work as Agile Coach at Knowledge21 (one of the biggest references in Scrum and Agile on Brazil), uncovering better ways of developing software and helping companies, teams and individuals do it;
