• Created a SME Model in the team of 9 WebSphere Administration and established Production Management Standards and Governance generating new revenue for LiquidHub exceeding $2M
• Filled in for Senior Director in IBC IS to deliver “Back Office Organizational Re-alignment”.
• Consulted with Senior Executives in IS and Business to establish project goals and strategies resulting in 2 pilot projects wins estimated at $16M. Built process models and harvested them using ARIS platform suite.
• Launched Enterprise Stabilization Initiative ($10M) for all IBC’s WebSphere Applications. Applications include Remote Online Account Management Systems, Managed Healthcare Systems, Claims Inventory Systems, Member, and Group & Provider Portals. Used SOA based approach and recommend changes in Enterprise Application, Data and Infrastructure Architecture.
• Reduced estimated losses of $1.3M (5 hours per week) related to operational downtime to $135K(1/2 hour per week) after enhancements increased reliability and integration
• Instituted and refined a highly responsive and effective WebSphere Applications Support process, while training a team of specialists providing users with effective troubleshooting and support services

 

Pfizer - Program Manager/Lead Architect – (WebSphere Portal and Lotus Notes)

 

• Completed IBM’s Lotus Workplace Web Content Management 5.1 Product Suite with Novell e-Directory LDAP in a three stage environment for Pfizer’s Global Manufacturing Development Portal. Created SWAT team that resolved Pfizer dual LDAP issues. This include migration of the applications from legacy to SAP COTS packages.
• Created plan for Lotus Notes application migrations to WebSphere Portal. Managed installation, testing, implementation and rollout of the new PGM WebSphere Portal delivery system. Delivered a custom built Java/J2EE Global Inventory Forecasting system
• As Solution Architect and Project Manager delivered WebSphere Portal 5.1 Horizontal Cluster with WMM and Pfizer’s Extended Novell E Directory (PXED)

• As Sr. Project Manger managed the Java-based “Attorney Desktop Solution” hosted on WebSphere Portal to replace Lotus Notes legacy applications. Led team to develop a “Portal Prototype” that was used by Attorney Focus Groups. Created Notes migration plan for application portfolio alignment.
