My name is Jessica South-Tellez. I graduated from Idaho State University in May 2013 with a Bachelor of Business Admintration degree in Computer Information System. I began my professional experience at Farm Bureau Mutual Insurance Company of Idaho in Pocatello, Idaho, as a Business Analyst in December 2013. My primay focus was as a BA on a scrum team that was implementing Guidewire BillingCenter. I was put into the Scrum Master role in January 2015. I attended a Certified Scrum Master training course in February 2015 in Salt Lake City, Utah. In March 2015, I received my CSM certificate. I worked as a Scrum Master for the same team until I left Farm Bureau at the end of February 2017.
I then began working in Lake Mary, Florida at Frontline Insurance as a Business Systems Analyst II at the beginning of March 2017. There, my primary focus still working on a scrum team to implement Guidewire BillingCenter. At the end of June 2017, I was approved to serve as Scrum Master for the BillingCenter and ClaimCenter teams. I then became the Business Systems Analyst manager but continued to serve as a scrum master position.
