I have been working with XP and Scrum teams for over a decade and have been working with software development and infrastructure teams for over 25 years.
I am super passionate about helping teams develop amazing products. I have played many roles within development teams: manager, coach, process steward, product steward, and initiatve lead. I have worked across a diverse range of industries and companies from major telecoms to, gaming caming companies, to mid sized engineering startup.
In the role of Scrum/Agile coach I have spoken at many conferences (Agile2014, DevOps Days, and Java One to name a few). I am really passionate about team learning and view process as a lens into the learning capabilities of any team. I have used Scrum as a way to bring dysfunctional teams to a place where they can learn within the context of their product about their own capabilities and about customer needs. Those teams have gone on to deliver amazing open source projects (www.berkshelf.com) and of course amazing features.
