Jim Erwin is a Technical Director for Procentrix, Inc, a solution delivery company based in Herndon, VA. As a Scrum Master / Project Manager, Jim primarily supports Federal Government clients with all manner of IT projects - primarily custom solution development, SharePoint and Project Server solutions - with the mission of helping organizations better integrate and leverage tools they already own to achieve greater success.
Jim holds a Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Management from DeVry University and a MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. After college Jim became an Enterprise Project Management consultant based out of Chicago, IL, focusing on technology tools such as Microsoft Project Server to help organizations achieve greater visibility and success with projects.
Jim joined Procentrix in 2012, initially as a project management specialist, but as the software development world evolved to more efficient, value-driven approaches, he became more involved in Agile (primarily Scrum and Kanban) and the rest is history. Jim holds both CSM and CSPO and supports solution development and Agile transformation initiatives across the Federal Government.
Jim is a Gold Star recipient as a volunteer at COSI Columbus, having designed an interactive aerodynamics exhibit and delivering over 1400 hours of volunteer service. Jim is a proud Midwesterner, originally from Columbus, OH, is a huge fan of hockey and college football (go Buckeyes and Blue Jackets!), and now lives in Manassas, VA with his wife, Danielle, and their 4 kids.
