Rachel BenHanoch
About
Rachel BenHanoch brings with her over 20 years of comprehensive experience in a variety of executive positions in product and project management, software development and operations.
She currently serves as Guesty's VP Product. In this capacity Rachel led the change of the delivery methodology to Scrum while providing comprehensive training and coachoing to both the development and product organizations. Prior to that Rachel served as Seebo's VP Product where she also led the move into Scrum in several departments.
At Powermat, the leading wireless charging company, Rachel also led the change to Scrum. She created training materials which she used for training of the development and testing teams. She continued to help with implementation as the Product Owner of 3 scrum teams, a mentor for the scrum processes, practicing the ceremonies, and unvieling the benefits and joy of scrum. She was also involved in setting up Agile systems to support management and tracability.
Prior to joining Powermat, Rachel held a project management executive position at Telmap that develop a navigation app that is used by a majority of the carriers in EU (acquired by Intel). At Telmap Rachel transformed the development organization by introducing Scrum. She developed a 3-day training course which she used to train RnD teams in Israel and in Romania. As a practicing Scrum master of 2 teams she gained much experience. She decided to master the method, and aquired both CSM and CSP Scrum Alliance certifications.
Prior to this, Rachel was R&D and site manager of U3, a Sandisk company, and one of the founders of the enterprise division at M-Systems (acquired by Sandisk). Rachel holds a B.Sc. in computer science and an MBA from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
