Work experience

LeadingAgile, SVP, Executive Coach
August 2014 - Present, Johns Creek, Georgia, United States
As an Executive Transformation Coach, I am responsible for large enterprise organizational & process transformations. In this role, I perform organizational assessments to determine the partner's need and create plans and options for engagement. Once engaged I lead training workshops to make sure that all of the people that will be involved in the transformation have a common understanding of Scrum, and then we begin to form teams and backlogs. I then create the transformation plan to move the part of or entire organization to Scrum - my responsibilities also include managing the engagement leads & teams to successful outcomes.

NBCUniversal, Director, Program Operations
December 2012 - July 2014, New York, New York, United States
In the role of Director of Program & Process Operations, I was responsible for the definition and the execution of the product and project management life-cycles across the Digital products & Interactive Media organization. Our main focus wast to build a media platform for all NBCUniversal brands - Telemundo, Bravo, NBC etc. - allowing for the central management and maintenance of a global responsive platform.

Gear Stream, Principal Consultant
March 2011 - December 2012, Raleigh, NC, United States
In this role, I was responsible for coaching and training teams in Scrum at the Portfolio, Program and Delivery Team levels. I would train the teams initially by executing a 2-3 day intensive bootcamp, then i would pair with the PO and the ScrumMasters to give them the coaching and guidance need to become successful team members. Once the teams stabilized - I began to introduce Scrum to the Director & VP levels of the org, to enable them to apply better decision making in regard to value, capacity and capability at the program and portfolio. This set the groundwork for the orgs to be positive examples for applying Scrum across larger organizations.

Kaplan University, Agile Transformation Manager
February 2010 - February 2011, Fort Lauderdale, FL, United States
In this role I was brought in to introduce Scrum & Agile the organization. As part of the PMO, I was tasked with defining the process we followed, and then forming mobile and innovation teams to pilot Scrum, then scale to the rest of the delivery org.
