Tiago Garcez is an Agile Coach and Trainer (CST) at Agilar focused on helping organizations adopt Agile practices and continuously improve. With a background in Business Administration and an MBA in Change Management, he became actively involved with Agile in 2008 and has since dedicated himself to helping teams and organizations improve.
He has worked as an Agile Coach and Trainer with some leading companies, such as bpost, Proximus, Vueling, TUI Hotelbeds, eBay and BNP Paribas Fortis, helping them in their adoption of Agile practices. This involved training delivery teams, Product Owners and Scrum Masters in Agile principles and the Scrum framework, and then coaching them throughout the delivery of their products. Also, Tiago has been working with organizational leaders in many of these organizations, supporting them in their personal change towards becoming Agile leaders.
Tiago is based out of Brussels, Belgium, and is originally from Sao Paulo Brazil. He has presented talks at various international conferences, including Agiles (Latin America), Agile Tour Brussels (Belgium), XP Days (Netherlands), Agile Portugal and CAS (Spain). Tiago is also an active member in the Agile Belgium community and has been helping small development companies (<50 employees) in the Brussels and Antwerp area in their adoption of Agile practices.
