Hello all! My name is Thomas (Thom) Shavor, and I am a U.S. Army veteran and Owner of Thom Shavor Consulting, a Professional Agile Training and Coaching company based in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. I have extensive (30+ years) of experience related to Leadership, and Program & Project Management, gained from working as a Project/Program Manager and Private Consultant within several large federal and state governmental agencies.
I've been a HUGE Lean-Agile enthusiast for several years, have a passion for teaching, mentoring, and coaching. I joined Scrum Alliance in 2017, when I became a Scrum Master with Accenture, the global IT Services consulting firm, and have worked with numerous clients within the Insurance, Energy, Governmental, Education, and Natural Resources industries.
As a lifelong learner, I really enjoy learning new things & working with my hands. Besides Agile/Scrum, my hobbies include learning about how things work, 3D Printing, woodworking, model building, enjoying my vinyl record collection, and reading.
