John Whiting

John Whiting is a Sr. Program/Project Manager/Director with demonstrated positive results in providing creative leadership in Solution Delivery. With a Masters Certification in Project Management from GWU,  SCRUM Master Certification, and many years of successful experience, I am accomplished in most methodologies (Agile/SCRUM/XP, waterfall, RUP, Method/1, JAD, RAD, etc.), and understand when, how and why to use each.

I continually seek and invariably find new ways to deliver millions to bottom lines.  

As their first Enterprise Program Manager, I managed the creation of the industry-standard, Sears.com, Purchase Online, Store Pickup system, transforming the vision of the CEO into a $200MM return in sales the first year.  My team and I won the Sears Chairman’s Award for Innovation in 2002.

I am a high achiever and instill the same quality in my teams.  I deliver on commitments, and am consistently on time, on budget, within the schedule and comply with all quality standards. 

Most important, I deliver applications that are strategically pertinent and they get used!
