James Zhang

My name is James Zhang and I am a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach and Certified member of the John Maxwell Team. I'm a father of 3 beautiful children and husband to the most amazing woman. My 3 passions in life is faith, family and people.

Through many of my life experiences I have learned that it’s not so much about what you do but rather the value you add and the impact you can have on people and the world around you.

My purpose is to help and inspire others to live a full life through unconditional love.

So much of what I know today is thanks to all the people who believed in me and invested in me and my desire is to pay that forward - I'm always open for a chat so please feel free to reach out!

Throughout my journey, I have...

• mentored and coached teams, business units and platforms working in Scrum and Kanban to focus on outcomes rather than output
• provided one on one coaching and mentoring on topics like agile, facilitation, training, speaking, leadership and skills development for career pathways
• have provided training for both internal staff and externals (including NPOs and Universities) to have a foundational understanding of Agile that includes the Agile Manifesto, Scrum, Kanban, Design Thinking through interactive games and activities
• Lead a Scrum Master meet up group to focus on knowledge sharing and coming up with ideas to improve the way the work leading to creating a group-wide Scrum Master community
• helped teams and leaders discover their talents and use their strengths to be effective and successful in their work using CliftonStrengths
