Android Vendor RIL - Mobile Platform: (Radio Interface Layer) at ST Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. And Ericsson India Global Services Pvt. Ltd.   

              The project aims at providing complete 3G mobile solution including the stack to customers.

                  Role:-

• Holds Scrum Master (SCM), Object Lead and Module Key Owner (MKR) roles & responsibilities.
• Ownership of Android RIL for all ST-Ericsson & Ericsson platforms and involved in all design proposals for both in-house and external stake holders.
• Design & Development of the Telephony components as part of Android RIL vendor component.
• Maintenance of existing Android Solution on 7300 platform. And new design for 7400, 7450 platforms.
• Taken care of upgrades to different android versions from GB to LP.
• To help in diagnosis and RCA of customer issues.

              The project aims at providing complete 3G mobile solution as part of a ModApp Solution U8500.

                  Role:-

• Customer Team Lead for U8500 Modem components which included SIMHAL, RFHAL, Modem TAT, RMC modem, Telephony IPC towards customer as single point contact.
• To sync-up with customer requirements and error reports and update team (supporting cross cultural environment and teams in multiple locations) and customer of the status. Involved in requirement collection, estimation, planning work packages, program tracking, delivery management, status reporting, and risk management.

 

Windows Phone RIL - Mobile Platform: (Radio Interface Layer) at ST Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd.

• Ownership of Telephony Framework components w.r.t. system design aspects.

TDGen2, HTC-PYD, S40 - Mobile Platform: (Telephony Protocol Abstraction Layer)  at  ST Ericsson India Pvt. Ltd. 

             The project aims at providing complete TDS-CDMA mobile solution including the stack.    

             customers.      

                  Role:-

• Design, Prototyping and Development of the Telephony components.
• Started as individual contributor and eventually Owner of Telephony Framework components.
• Involved in telephony architecture, design discussions, MDS.
• Also holds Module Key Owner (MKR) roles & responsibilities.

LiMo Foundation (Telephony Framework Middleware)  & Samsung’s Internal Linux Mobile Platforms at Samsung India Software Operations

LiMo Foundation is an industry consortium dedicated to creating the first truly open, hardware-independent, Linux-based operating system for mobile devices and is backed by major mobile industry leaders. Samsung had its internal Linux Platforms for 3G Mobile Solution which is used for commercialization, standardization and demo perspective. I am involved in the Telephony Framework Middleware Component for standardization and demo.           

                  Role:-

• Telephony Domain Working Group member in LiMo Foundation.
• Interaction with LiMo WG/DWG members for Telephony related discussions on design, prototyping, estimations & contributions.
• Design, Prototyping and Development of the Telephony Middleware components.
• Started as individual contributor and eventually Owner of Telephony Framework.
• Involved system design discussions. Design & Development of LiMo and internal Reference Platform.
• Had onsite experience in Samsung Electronics, South Korea site to support Telephony and Mobile Platform activities which included telephony middleware design and demo activities.

 

Samsung’s Internal Linux Mobile Platforms: (OEM Modem Plugin with Infineon modem)  at Samsung India Software Operations 

Samsung had internal Linux Platforms which uses Infineon (Dual Chip Solution) modem. with AT interfaces.

                  Role:-

•  Design / Development OEM Modem Plugin component.
•  Ownership of Telephony framework.
•  Design and Development of APE and BP/MP Interfaces (Part of OEM Modem Plugin) of a  Mobile Solution for Internal Platforms.

 

 

 

3G Mobile I300-30 Platform and MXC300-30 Platform: (L4 Application Framework) at 

FreeScale Semiconductors    

              The project aimed at providing complete 3G mobile solution including the stack.

                  Role:-   

• Involved in Design and Development of Modem Application Framework including AT Commands Line Interface Development for all types of modem services such as Call Control, Packet Domain, SIM, SMS, Network Management, Supplementary Services, etc.
• Ownership of Call & Data Signaling Services and support for other modules.
• Had experiences in FreeScale Semiconductor, Toulouse, France site to support the Application Framework and AT Command Line Interface and resolved all sorts of issues in time critical scenarios

 

UWB XS-660 and UWB XS-660: at  FreeScale Semiconductors

Freescale Semiconductors had a working solution for Ultra Wide Band (UWB) for Data

Transfer at 110 Mbps. XS-660 project was the next generation solution for 660 Mbps.

      Role :-

• Development of UWB Hardware Configuration and Control IOCTL interfaces APIs.
• Ownership of Windows GUI based Tool and development of Manufacturing Test Environment.

Bug fixing in the existing WDM code and UWB firmware code.

 

Visa Details                       : Holds Valid US Business and EU Business Visas.
