Artur Margonari

Artur Margonari is passionate about Agile. He currently works as an Agile Transformation Agent at Wemanity - The Agile Driving Force, in Belgium. He has more than 3 years experience in practicing and helping companies apply Scrum to achieve the positive results this methodology can provide.

His first Scrum implementation happened at Syncode Systems and Technology, based in Goiânia, Brazil. As the interest inside the company in implementing Scrum was already clear, he decided to try it. The Certified ScrumMaster training was really important step as he learned nice techniques and good source of information which could be used to coach Syncode in this transition. After 5 months, Scrum was already well implemented in one of the teams. The positive results within the team and reflected over the whole organization were clear enough to be asked to coach Scrum implementation in the other two teams as well. These other two implementations were much more smoother and faster as he improved what went wrong in the 1st implementation and kept what worked well. He knows well that the time invested, the approach, the techniques and other issues while implementing Scrum will always vary depending on the mindsets and peculiarities of each team/company. 

After moving to Belgium in december of 2014 and start at Wemanity, he successfully coached the Scrum implementation at Intergraph, an american company based in Brussels. The team has more than 16 developers, which seven remote people from India. And now Scrum is being scaled and aligned with the clients and end users in a Sprint base. 

As trainer and coach: he has provided Agile, Lean, Lean-startups and Leadership trainings at Kapaza also at Wemanity. He participated as a coach in Agile Tour London 2015's coach clinic. As speaker, he was present at Google Developers Group DevFest 2015 and Agile Tour Brussels 2015.

Artur studies and reads about what's new in Agile, Lean, Lean Startup everyday. He is always attending to Agile events (e.g. Scrum Gathering Rio 2014, Agile Brazil 2014, Agile Tour Brussels and London 2015, Global Scrum Gathering Prague 2015...) to be up to date, to learn and share informations and experiences. And he is always looking for new trainings and certifications. Not only for the recognition but mainly for qualification/knowledge and the rocky road" that's indicate in these kind of training. Artur holds the following qualifications:

• Cerfitied Product Owner;
• Certified SAFe Agilist (Scaled Agile Framework); 
• Certified LeSS Practitioner 
• Lean-Kanban University Practitioner;
• Management 3.0;
• Coaching Express (Cóndor Blanco).

Artur lives in the beautiful city of Gent, Belgium. He is engaged and is always traveling to new countries, collecting owls worldwide (not the real animal, but it would be amazing). To keep the mind and body healthy, he practice martial arts. And loves to play/listen to music. Instruments: acoustic guitar, guitar, harmonica, drums, bass, tamborim and learning violin and transversal flute...).
