Christian Stettler

My name is Christian Stettler. I have studied Project Management at Wirtschafts-Informatikschule Schweiz until 1996. My life as a project manager began in the 1990's. With my assignment at Infoline (work life from 1990 to 1998) I have accomplished a great number of small and medium projects. They were heavily related in software development, process management. I have worked for public governments, assurance companies and others. From 1999 to 2005 I have worked as a project manager and advisory education specialist at IBM Switzerland. Those IBM projects were related to educational user trainings, large and international software rollout projects and integration of the largest online learning management system at one of the best known university in Switzerland. At IBM I was a certified on it's own project management method WWPMM which was in accordance to the PMI standards. From 2005 to 2006 I was CEO and executice board member of Infoline AG. At this time Infoline was a open-source sowftware development company. I introduced SCRUm and other agile processes in our software development processes and achieved high standards in agile project management methods. From 2007 until 2011 my career went to Previon AG where I have worked as a COO. I have led the software and project management team, accelerated project management processes around agile methods, established SCRUM as the one process for all software projects. Since 2012 I am working for Neue Zürcher Zeitung AG, one of the largest media company in Switzerland. I have led the software development team with agile processes and methods. Since 2013 I am working as a project manager and consultant and reached the following goals: establish an agile software development process from reguirements engineering to implementation. set up processes around a Global Project Office to let help the executive board manage all projects. My goal is to further enhance the capability and the know-how of every NZZ employee to understand and work with agile processes.
